This song has become the number one hit in many radio stations and Pentatonix did a great job in this cover. Rising To Fame

There are many people that rise to fame for making amazing covers on YouTube (e.g. Justin Bieber). Today I will be highlighting which people that I have talked about in my previous posts have risen to fame.

 Edei

Emma Deigman, known as Edei (stage name), is quickly rising to fame in the UK as well as in America. She has  two new singles out called "In My Bed" and "Loved" which are up beat and have a pop beat to them. In an interview with popreviewsnow Edei says:

[Describing her music] "I would say its summery, fun and soulful, a cd you can just put on in the car or at home just relaxing and just have it playing the whole way through!" - Edei

Next week I will cover who else has been rising to fame!

"We Found Love" Cover by Boyce Avenue

I applaud Boyce Avenue for their astounding cover of Rihanna's' song "We Found Love". The band started getting recognition when in 2006 they started posting original material as well as cover songs on YouTube. Now they have their own record label called '3 Peace Records'. As for members of the band there are 3 in total, Alejandro Manzano (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian Manzano (guitar, bass, backing vocals, keyboards) and Daniel Manzano (bass, percussion, backing vocals, violin). And yes, by looking at their last names they are brothers who were originally from Puerto Rico. They are now touring with other bands and gaining a huge fan-base. Check them out! ---> Boyce Avenue

"Grenade" Cover by Edei

I instantly fell in love with Edei's voice when I heard her cover for Bruno Mars' 3-time Grammy nominee "Grenade". At the age of 22 Edei is about to release her debut album that includes her single "Loved". Her song "Loved" actually incorporates the background beat of Ben E. King's "Stand By Me". Her voice is amazingly soulful and zealous which is why I adore Edei and her music.

"E.T." Cover by Alex Goot

One word. AMAZING! This guy can seriously sing. Alex Goot's cover of Katy Perry's "E.T." is definitely very creative. It's awesome how he plays ALL the instruments for his cover songs. Alex sings with so much passion and his voice is so... hypnotizing. :) I hate to say this but I actually like this song 100 times better than the original. If you like Alex's cover check out his YouTube channel HERE where he posts many more great cover songs!

"Mad World" Cover by Djamila

DxDutch - Mad World (Cover)

Djamila (a.k.a. "DxDutch") is a young singer/songwriter who covers many songs on her YouTube channel.  My favorite is her cover of  Tears for Fear's song "Mad World". There are thousands of people on YouTube that attempted to cover this song but Djamila's version is raw and captivating.

"Do It Like A Dude" Cover by Kennedy Thal

Kennedy Thal - Do It Like A Dude (Cover)

One thing I love is guys covering songs that were originally by female artists. In this video we have Kennedy Thal covering Jessie J's song Do It Like A Dude. Kennedy Thal now has his own music up on Myspace and on YouTube. Thal makes this cover unique by changing a few words around and it seems like this is the "guy" responding to Jessie J's song.

"Rolling in the Deep" Cover By Vazquez Sounds

Vazquez Sounds - Rolling in the Deep (Cover)

This song cover of Adele's hit single Rolling in the Deep is by the  musical trio Vazquez Sounds from Mexico. They are siblings who got together in their father's music studio and started performing song covers and their own songs as well. In the group we have Angela Vazquez the youngest with 11 years, Abelardo (13 years), and Gustavo (15 Years). Angela's talent is absolutely mesmerizing. The first time I saw this video I was amazed and must have hit the replay button more than ten times. Although you can hear here Spanish accent on some of the words she pronounces, I think that is what makes this song cover beautiful since her English isn't perfect it adds something unique to the song. Enjoy!!
